Assy Plato 🐎
The Assy Plateau is the nomadic side of Kazakhstan: a high summer pasture at ~2,500 m, dotted with yurts and grazing horses, crowned by the white dome of the Assy-Turgen observatory. We reach it through the Turgen gorge and its waterfalls.
Available as a long single day or a relaxed 2-day trip with an overnight under the stars — the night sky up here is unforgettable.

Good to know
The upper road is gravel, so we use suitable vehicles. The 2-day version adds an overnight on the plateau — bring a warm layer, it is cold at night even in summer.
The schedule is approximate and may change with weather, road conditions and the punctuality of the group.
