A small Kazakhstani company that believes the best trips are personal.
Almatrips was founded in Almaty by Aknur Anarbekovna — a certified tour guide who has spent more than five years leading travelers through the canyons, alpine lakes and high pastures of the Tian Shan. After years of guiding for other companies, she started Almatrips to do tours the way she always wanted to: small, unhurried and personal.
We deliberately keep every tour private — a maximum of three guests per car. No buses, no megaphones, no waiting for strangers at every stop. Your guide adjusts the route, the pace and the photo stops to you, not to a schedule.
We are local. We know which road to Kolsai is open after rain, where the light hits the Valley of Castles first, and which yurt on the Assy Plateau serves the best kumys. That knowledge is what you actually book.
